The Medical Directors of the Mississauga Marathon are Russell Gunner, C.A.T.(C) and Odyssey Medical. With a wealth of experience supporting diverse clients in a wide range of settings, we’re experts in risk management and production safety. They are responsible for a contingent of medical support along the route as well as a large medical and physio tent at the finish line.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services work closely with the medical team in the unlikely event of a serious emergency. Portable defibrillators are used throughout the course and at the finish line.
