MaraFun
The Mississauga MaraFun reinforces our commitment to provide a run for everyone on marathon weekend and has been designed to encourage young people to get active by running or walking a total of 40 kilometres over a six week period. On race weekend, participants finish their 42 KM marathon distance by completing the final two kilometres of the challenge on the actual marathon route to the cheers of thousands of spectators. Upon crossing
the finish line each participant will receive a finishers medal and a certificate of completion. The event is geared towards kids in grades two through eight and will be completed through the honour system under the guidance and verification of a parent, teacher or coach.
The Mississauga MaraFun presents a wonderful opportunity for kids to enjoy the benefits of good health and well-being through physical activity, as well as focus on fundraising for one of our charitable partners.
