Toronto
Toronto, population 2.2 million, sits immediately adjacent to and east of Mississauga, also on the shore of Lake Ontario. Downtown Toronto is 15 km (9 miles) from central Mississauga. It is considered a cosmopolitan city with a wealth of ethnic backgrounds and cultural centers. Other features:
