member to pick up the race kits for the team. Race
Kit pickup ends at 3:00 pm on Saturday May 15,
2010
for 10K participants. Please make note of your
confirmation number and bring that number to the kit
pick-up

Centre to Lakefront Promenade Park (Finish Line)
It is less
than 2K from Cawthra Community Centre to the
Finish Area.
- Walk south on Cawthra Rd. from the community
centre to Lakeshore Rd.
- Cross Lakeshore and proceed
west or right to the first street, Aviation Rd.
- Proceed
south on Aviation to the Waterfront Trail. You
will be able to walk along the grass through
the park
toward the finish area.

The Mississauga Marathon is proud to include in its Race Weekend events the
Desjardins General Insurance 10K Student Relay. This event provides a unique opportunity to create a team building experience, which focuses on health and fitness. This event has teams of 2, 3 or 4 members completing the 10K course. All finishers receive a medal, and prizing will be awarded to the top three teams in the elementary (grades 1-5), elementary (grades 6-8) and secondary divisions.
- Aid Stations at 4km and 8km
- Fluids at all stations: Gatorade and water
- Other aid at stations: Vaseline, bandages

Please Note:
A rolling clear will occur at the rate of
slightly over 9 minutes/ kilometre (14:30
min/mile). Participants moving slower than this
pace will be asked by Police to move onto the
sidewalk and proceed to the finish line obeying
regular pedestrian road rules.
