Gifts of $20 or more will be receipted.

How can I donate?

1. When you register at Events Online you can donate during the registration process.

2. At the bottom of this page you can directly donate to the charities by clicking on their logo. This is a credit card transaction. Please indicate to the charity that your donation is based on your participation in the Mississauga Marathon.

3. Pledging: If you have family, friends and supporters who will be assisting you in raising money for a charity. Events Online and Running Room (depending on who you registered with) have the ability to receive credit card transactions on your behalf. The Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada and Jerry Love Children’s Fund are available for pledging.

Pledging with Events Online: Send your family, friends and supporters an email asking for their support. Provide them with the following link (http://www.eventsonline.ca/events/mississauga_mara/confirm2.htm). The donor then scrolls down the list to your name, clicks on it and proceeds with the donation transaction.

Pledging with Running Room: Send your family, friends and supporters an email asking for their support. Provide them with the following link (http://www.giving.runningroom.com/hm/). The donor then enters your name under pledge an athlete, clicks on Mississauga Marathon presented by Canon and proceeds with the donation transaction.

4. Fundraising can also be accomplished using pledge forms available by clicking here. Have your friends and family fill out your form and collect their donations. Bring your completed form along with your donations to the Runners Expo on Friday May 9th or Saturday May 10th.

And remember…Your support of our initial Shoes for Malawi shoe drive made it an overwhelming success in 2007. We hope that you will remember our friends again this year and save your used running shoes to donate to this deserving group once again. Shoes can be dropped off at our Runners Expo or at the start line of our Canon Marathon, Half Marathon and Grand & Toy Corporate & Team Relay Challenge on Sunday, May 11th 2008.
